Sydney Biennale in full swing

The festival is on until 7th Sep, so there’s no excuse for getting amongst it in one way or another. I headed over to Cockatoo Island on the free Ferry last Friday to check out Shaun Gladwell’s Ghost Rider 2008 piece.

I wasn’t blown away by the actual work on the Island (lots of video art) but it was the all the old warehouses and industrial machinery which looked like they had just been left since the last time the Island was in full working production. If you like lots of empty spaces and exposed iron , then its right up your alley hey son!

Sydney Biennale is on across the city, check the site for heaps of info and ferry times.
