This Carousel is off the rictor!

Huge project for Phillips, a short film and site, both as good as eachother. Outstanding interactivity! Yeah ‘bullet time’ is impressive, but 2.19 mins of it is pretty damn cool, and obviously Knack loves clowns. I would love to know more about the Video to Flash translation.

Stink: “This epic film is the centrepiece of the interactive experience. On its own, it clocks in at a (totally coincidental) two minutes and 19 seconds, but Tribal briefed Berg on an endless loop. Visitors to the microsite therefore have the option to ‘spin’ through the film’s single take shot repeatedly, to stop on a specific frame, or to watch it at the preordained speed. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, transport the viewer seamlessly from the heavily posted film to a behind-the-scenes version of the same shot. This constant moving between two layers of reality proved one of the project’s biggest and most ambitious production challenges….”

Adam Berg directed, and the rest of the team seem to be stretched across Europe, bigups all involved!

Interesting Interview :: Noah Kalina

Knack being big fans of Noah’s work was definitely interested in this interview with the talented man himself. Seen on the ever inspiring toomuchchocolate site.

“I like to think every shoot I do professionally or otherwise is personal. Sometimes I don’t get a shot on a commercial or editorial job that I think falls into the category of “personal” but I always try and I am always thinking about it.”

DaN Vojtech 22yr Wanderkid!

This guy hails from Caslaz, in the Czech Republic. he’s on twenty two and already has portfolio jammed packed with goodness! With an emphasis on extreme sports, he also kills it in the the fashion photography quarter. Really like his graphic style when shooting skaters and bmx riders. Perfect.
