Terry Richardson on Communicating with People

terryrichardson

Often blurring the lines between porn, fashion and social documenting. Terry Richardson seems to provoke and thrive on controversy in the visual world. Interesting to hear him talk about communicating with people relating to some of his work leaves me wondering in some situations “what did he say then!”

Just lovely Jan

Beautiful simple images from Jan Von Holleben. Simple styles with undertones of ‘childsplay’ and just ‘being a kid’ that make his site a pleasure to explore. He’s originally from South West Germany and was raised in an alterantive commune, I wander how much this has affected and inspired his photography? He later moved to ol Blighty and studied then dove into the London world of photography and now is employed as a picture editor/director. Check his site.

Banksy’s Coming for Dinner!

banksyfordinner

“Experience the clash of celebrity, as Hollywood royalty Joan Collins and husband Percy meet Banksy, the most famous living artist in the world. Banksy’s Coming for Dinner is a film within a film and questions the very nature of ‘reality’ at every level.” That alone interests me to see this film! (a film within a film), adding to the excitement of being a fan of the artists work and the eluding secretiveness and hype of him….
