Immersion : Porn

“In a film of startling power and unsettling intimacy – produced exclusively for wallpaper.com – video artist and photographer Robbie Cooper shoots back at active porn aficionados lost in ecstatic release and hears how their passion developed. Be aware that this is not easy titillation and some of you may find the footage shocking. But the film does throw up any number of questions about voyeurism and exhibitionism and makes clear the incredible nakedness of the solo sex act.” Wallpaper Magazine.

An interesting insight into how porn is perceived in the modern day. Quite in your face to watch. I felt happily uncomfortable.

Lyndon Wade : Photography

Here’s another favorite photographer to add to the list. Lyndon Wade is a photographer based in New York city who’s work provokes vigorous energy that suggests a real moment being captured. Wade seems to have an amazing ability to produce complete narratives in a single image or that in a series.

With a client list including Sony, Virgin, Lee Europe, Emanuel Ungaro, Coke , Pepsi, Reebok, Channel 4 (London) Nestea, Sprite, CMT, Shady (Eminem) Limited, Target, Nintendo, Best Buy, WWE, Crest, Caesars, Dodge, Vibe, Stuff, Maxim, Harper Collins, Molson Beer, Vox Vodka, Sprint, GE, Sonic, Bayer, Nestle, BBDO, Draft FCB, J. Walter Thompson, Berlin-Cameron
United, Mcgarry Bowen, Saatchi NY, he seems to be doing alright.

Love his style.

Inspire your Imagination

Came across this rad little blog called Inspire your Imagination that profiles, links to, showcases, talks about etc. etc. photographers from around the globe. Awesome resource for inspiration and to see what people are getting up to. Couldn’t quite find out to much info on who runs this but am impressed none-the-less.

Matt Clark Photography

Came accross Matt’s work as part of the Surflines Portfolio series and liked what i saw. Apart from his very humerous and differently witty commentry i thought he has a different style of surf the regular surf photographer. Whether its the fact that the majority of his surf shots are from the New York area, and lets be honest, it’s not really well known for its surf (in this part of the world anyways) or is it just a new take on a generally older dominated field. ??? Who knows. but i likey

You can check his blog HERE

Some photos of his on Waveriders gallery HERE

or his portfolio sries on surfline HERE

ps. i don’t approve of his links to the bodyboarding sites though. that shit is gay

One Russian Photographer I have been following on Flickr for quite some time now. Her name is Lena Vazhenina and her site is called Sex:Female , this is her Flickr.
Love her portrait work, high gloss factor and stylized art direction.
